Zach Franks is the owner of Crawlspace Cowboys and has spent more than 11 years working in the crawlspace and pest control industry. Born and raised in the Chattanooga area, Zach knows the homes, soil, humidity, moisture issues, and crawlspace problems that are common throughout Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia.

Before starting Crawlspace Cowboys, Zach worked as a sales inspector for a large pest control company, where he gained years of hands-on experience inspecting crawlspaces, identifying moisture and structural concerns, and helping homeowners understand what was happening beneath their homes. Just as importantly, he learned what homeowners didn't like about dealing with large corporate companies.

Zach built Crawlspace Cowboys to be different.

His approach is simple: inspect the crawlspace carefully, explain what is actually going on, recommend what the home truly needs, and don't pressure people into buying services they don't need. Zach believes homeowners deserve straight answers, fair pricing, quality workmanship, and someone who is willing to do the right thing even when it means recommending a smaller repair instead of a more expensive project.

After more than a decade in the industry, Zach knows the dos and don'ts of crawlspaces. He understands how moisture, standing water, poor drainage, high humidity, damaged vapor barriers, mold conditions, wood rot, insulation issues, and other crawlspace problems can affect the comfort and health of a home. That experience allows Crawlspace Cowboys to look at the entire crawlspace instead of simply trying to sell a one-size-fits-all solution.

For Zach, Crawlspace Cowboys is also very much a local family business. He and his wife, Chaelee, are raising their three children here in the Chattanooga area, and the reputation of the company means something personally to him.
